Visa Related Questions

Question: What is the VISA lead time?

Recent lead time for Visitor VISA is less than 15 days at all USA embassies in India. Do plan for 10 days of VISA processing time, if the VISA application gets approved. You may check the earliest appointment date here

Question. Is there a VISA guarantee?

No there are none. There's no way anyone could guarantee a VISA to USA. We would provide you with a set of invitation letters which should make things easy for you.

Question: If I am denied a visa, will my deposit be refunded?

Absolutely. Your full amount (minus the 10% of contract value as the processing fees) will be refunded provided you follow the VISA application Process and the VISA gets denied for all of the names specified on the Participant Registration Form, along with a proof of denial from the US embassy.

Question. When can I expect the invitation letter for my VISA?

We will issue you an invitation soon after the Participant Registration form along with the deposit is received by us.

Event Related Questions

Question: What is the last date for booking a stall?

Frankly, you should book your stalls as early as possible. Technically, August 15th 2010 is the last date for any Participant Registration Application for those companies who are not dependant on VISA, as they already have Staff with Valid US VISA.

Question: Are there any preferential location charges for the stalls?

No there aren't any. Stalls are available on a first come first serve basis. Remember to confirm the stall number with your representative or call our office to confirm.

Question: Is this a similar show to the previous shows that have happened in the past by your competition?

Now that's a question we would like to talk in detail. Besides being the largest and most successfull Indian Property Show(s) done in USA, it is also the ONLY show that is designed by experienced Developers i.e. our clients. We take your feedback seriously and incorpoate it everytime to scale our performance with each edition. If we still haven't answered your question, feel free to call us.

Question: I am not on your platform currently. Do I have to be on atOnePlace to participate?

No. Absolutely not. Although, if you want us to serve your properties after you leave, we would then need you to be on our platform. Ask your representative for more details. Its real easy to sign up.

Question: Is this a good time to visit USA?

This is an apt time to be in USA and pitch your properties to NRIs. Schools have just resumed in end of August and so NRIs have all returned from their vacations, much relaxed from the normal daily grind. Many of them travel in these forward months to India as well. So any analysis done in mid September will help you to close sales when the customer visits India for winter vacations.

Question: Who'll take care of my food?

Our travel partner will. We've specially asked our travel partner to ensure that quality and tasty food in USA is taken care of.

Question: The price of the stand looks high. Can you justify it?

Sure! The Indian Realty Show is not a show in a lobby with few car parking spots or happening locations with most potential of NRIs. The Indian Realty Show is a world-class event held at a world class venue with a huge marketing and campaign budget. We're not just about organizing an event. We're a marketing platform, helping builders, just like you! Exhibiting at the Indian Realty Show is NOT only a brand building exercise but an Investment with a specific return.

Question: How much parking is available at the venue?

Each Venue has been crefully chosen keeping adequate free parking in mind.

Question: Is there entry fees for the visitors?

No. Nops. Nada. Zilch. There is none. The Indian Realty Show is 100% free for visitors.

Question: Can you guarantee that I will sell properties?

The Indian Realty Show represents your best chance to sell properties to NRIs in the USA. Believe us, if you can't sell your properties at the Indian Realty Show with all the help and support that is available to you, I think you would struggle to sell your properties at any exhibition. Additionally, how well you are prepared for the exhibition would help you sell the most. In short what YOU make of this great event is up to you. we can help and give advice but your success during the four days will be up to you. So although we can't guarantee that you will sell property, but we offer you the best possible chance of doing so.

Question: I don't build higher priced property. What good is this exhibition to me?

A lot! You see the NRIs in the USA have all sorts of occupations ranging from entrepreneurs and directors to taxi drivers and labourers, and we know, from our research.they ALL want to buy property in India. In fact our research and the actual results from our experience shows that there is a greater demand for lower priced properties than there were for higher priced ones. Perhaps this is due to the fact that there are more taxi drivers and labourers than there are directors and entrepreneurs!

Travel Related Questions

Question. What kind of Hotels will be used for stay during the Program?

All hotels in our USA Travel Package will be a 3.5/4 Star category hotel. In the past we've used Marriott, Hyatt, Crowne Plaza, Mandarin Bay, Radisson, Westin brands to name a few. This time it most probably will include stays at the Hyatt, Marriott, Westin, Treasure Island/Luxor/Monte Carlo and Radisson

Question. What other costs should I plan for, besides the travel Package and the Booth Package?

Although this is a tricky question, but the travel package will take care of your stay, local transfer (all airport to hotel and hotel to airport transfers, all transfers as needed to the show venues from the hotel of stay etc, all meals inluding breakfast, lunch and dinner. Previously our exhibitors have not had any occasion to spend except when looking for alcoholic drinks or personal purchases.

Question: Will there be Indian Cuisine available?

Yes. All the meals will comprise of warm, fresh and tasty Indian Cuisine with Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian dishes.

Question: Is alcohol included in the Meals?

No. It can be purchased seperately at almos all locations

Question: Can I buy my own International Tickets?

Absolutely. Just note that you'd have to arrange your own pickup and drop from/to the Airport in that case.

Question: Can I participate in one location?

No. Exhibiting properties in USA has its own costs. It is quite an investment which does not justify well for just attending one particular location. Besides, we base our pricing on the whole group and it gets unfair to allow someone show only at any choice location.

Question: What if I have some problem in USA?

We are known for our hospitability. We try and help you with our best effort to ensure a pleasant experience for you and your organization

Expo Logistics Questions

Question: What about electricity supply at my stand?

Electricity supply is optional. You can request for a electronic connection for a few dollars per venue.

Question: Will I need a transformer / converter for my equipment?

The USA runs on 110V. The plugs are also different. We strongly advise you to carry some plug adapters with you.

Question: What do I do if I need anything extra for my stand?

Once you have booked and paid for your stand you will be provided with details of all the extras that are available. Also, feel free to connect with us with your requirements in advance, and we'll help you as much possible.

Question: What do I do if I need anything extra at the stand during the exhibition?

At the exhibition itself, there will be a number of on-site staff to help and assist you with whatever you need. There might be a service charges associated in some cases.

Question: What level of security is there at the venue?

The venues are well secured by the center security staff. We would also arrange for additional security as per norms.

Question:What happens to the money I paid you if the Indian Realty Show is cancelled or postponed?

Cancellation or postponement of the exhibition will only happen in very unlikely circumstances, and from our research an event gets cancelled or postponed less than 1% of the time. However, we recommend that you obtain necessary insurance (like we have) to cover all your costs for the exhibition in this eventuality.

Question: What are the timings for the exhibition?

The Indian Realty Show timings are from 12:00 Noon to 7:00 pm on each of the days except in Chicago, falling on a weekday, the show will be between 3 pm - 9 pm.

Question: How many people will I need to manage my stand?

Our advice is to have at least 2 people manage your stand at all times. If you need, you can also book a hostess for your booth at one or all locations.

Attendance Questions

Question: How long do I need to be in USA?

At least 10 days (for the show at four locations) plus 1 day to wind up. We do recommend that you stay a little longer as there might be leads/sales that you need to follow up before you go back to India, unless we are servicing your leads.

Question: What will I need to bring from India?

The Exhibitors' Resource contains help and advice on what you need to bring with you, But you will definitely need lots of brochures and marketing material with you.

Question: What about visas and travel arrangements?

Our staff is well experienced in guiding you through the process and help obtaining visas for you and your staff. Once you have booked and paid for your stand, process details will be provided to you.

Question: Is there a dress code?

Yes there is. The Indian Realty Show is a world class event, and as such staff at exhibitors' stands will need to be dressed formally/business attire.

Question: Can I advertise my stall in the papers / media in USA?

Yes, you can. Once you have booked and paid for your stand, you will be given a unique stand number that you can advertise (in fact we recommend that you do!)

Question: Can I share my stand with someone else?

No. Exhibition stands can only be used by one company. They cannot be split with any partner or group company.

Question: Will there be internet access at my stand?

Yes but it is optional and separately charged. So, once you have booked and paid for your stand you will be given the option of booking internet access for your stand. If all you want to do is to show your website at the exhibition, from our experience, we'd suggest you to have a local copy on your laptop as well. We know, and can put you in touch with, a number of companies who could do this for you.

Question: How do I book?

Booking is simple and easy. Please complete the Participant Application Form and fax it back to the number on the form alongwith your payment.

Question: How do I pay?

Payment can be made as per your convinience by a Demand Draft or a Cheque.We DO NOT accept Cash. We do not accept any payments outside India

Question: Can I book online?

No, to book, please contact the number on the Participant Application Form or call us at +120-4750500.

Question: Can I pay with a credit card?

No.

Question: Can I book a stand bigger than 100 sq ft?

Yes, you can. Just choose the stand numbers you want and enter these onto the booking form. (The stands need to be adjacent to each other).

Question: What other opportunities are there?

There are a number of other opportunities available, including

Question: Can I book now and decide later?

Yes you can, but you'll only have 7 days to decide! Once you make a booking, you then have 7 days to get the payment to us. If we don't receive your payment in 7 days, then the stand(s) you held will be made available to other exhibitors.

Question: Are there discounts for larger stands?
